The map shows toponyms extracted from the Polish National Library throught history. Three sources of toponyms were used:

• publication places
• subject entries - geographic description avaliable in the bibliography record (field 651 of MARC)
• titles - extracted automatically by NER

Select a place (toponym on the map), when popup (with name and number of book titles) arise:

• click - shows list of books
• click + ALT/OPTION - shows the toponym existance over time (absolute and relative)
• click + SHIFT - removes a circle representing selected toponym
